4 Persoonstenten voor de fietsvakantie, trekking en kamperen

Terwijl er volop keuze is aan lichtgewicht solo-, duo- en driepersoons tenten, is de selectie van vier persoons tenten een stuk kleiner.

Stevige vierpersoons tenten zijn een redelijke uitdaging. Met het grote noodzakelijke vloeroppervlakte om te slapen en voor je bagage neemt ook de lengte van de stokken en de hoogte en frontaal oppervlakte van de tent toe. En hiermee de gevoeligheid voor wind.

Veel vierpersoonstenten zijn, mede daardoor, redelijk krap bemeten. Daar slaap je lekker op elkaar gepropt met de reisgenoten, die wellicht ook al een aantal dagen niet hebben kunnen douchen. Vaak wordt dan ook gekozen voor een tweetal tweepersoons tenten in plaats van een enkele vierpersoons. Met twee tenten ben je flexibeler en vaak lichter en goedkoper in aanschaf. Wel betaal je op campings dan vaak ook twee keer voor een tent.

In de groep van 4 persoonstenten van tenten vinden we ook tenten met een dubbele cabine. Ideaal als je met een gezin met kleinere kinderen op pad bent. Zijn de kinderen wat ouder dan slapen ze net zo makkelijk in een eigen tent.
